From 1 January 2023, a 0% VAT rate applies in the Netherlands to the supply and installation of solar panels on or in the immediate vicinity of residential properties.
What does this mean for you?
- Consumers pay 0% VAT on solar panels
- Business customers (B2B) receive an invoice excluding VAT
- EU business customers outside the Netherlands may be eligible for intra-Community supply, subject to the applicable conditions
